About the Role:

This position offers a Certificate III in Business Administration provided by the Queensland Government. This role will suit a recent school leaver or a person with no previous Certificate III Qualification to be eligible for this Traineeship.

Inclusion Support Facilitator for two kindy-aged children with additional needs, within a class of 22 children at Gan Gani Community Kindergarten in Fig Tree Pocket. Gan Gani is a single unit kindergarten offering a kindergarten program to two groups of children, 5 days per fortnight. The kindergarten operates from 8.45am to 2.45pm Monday to Friday during school terms.

We are a community Kindergarten affiliated with Lady Gowrie and have been serving the children and families of Kedron and surrounding areas for 55 years.

We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic individual to undertake our Lunch Relief Assistant (Casual), working for two (2) hours per day on Thursdays and Fridays during kindergarten terms. Our kindergarten terms and holidays are aligned to the Queensland State School calendar.

Over the 2 hour period, you will assist the Teacher or Educator while their staggered lunch breaks are taken, as well as assisting with other centre tasks. We do require the hours to be worked during the middle of the day. However, there is some flexibility with the exact start time, so we will discuss this further during the interview. Additional hours may be offered throughout the year as required.

Our play-based program celebrates childhood by valuing children as competent and capable individuals who come to kindy with unique knowledge and experiences. We place a strong emphasis on nature play and are seeking a candidate who values working with children and becoming an integral part of our Kedron Heights team.

Theodore Early Child Care Centre is a combined Limited Hours Day Care Centre and Lady Gowrie Kindergarten operating on the banks of the Dawson River in the beautiful town of Theodore.
