About the centre
Coolum Beach Community Kindergarten (Jones Parade) is a warm, home-like place where children discover the delight of learning and prepare for a successful transition to school. With an exploration and play-based educational approach, and a caring and nurturing atmosphere, “Jones Parade Kindy” – as it is known by generations of Coolum-ites – has been a much loved part of the community for over 30 years. Since the gates opened in 1982, there have only been a handful of staff – testament to the passion of the people who have built our kindy into the child-centred community hub it is today.
