About the centre
Broadbeach Waters Kindergarten is a not-for-profit, community-based centre situated in the heart of the Gold Coast. Established in 1967, and at its current premises since 1969, it is a well-established and highly respected centre of excellence in Early Childhood Education. We are rated “Exceeding” in all areas under National Quality Standards.
Our centre boasts a stunning environment both indoors and outdoors. The amazing array of resources and facilities supports our play- based curriculum where children’s interests and abilities are scaffolded so that potential and deep involvement in their learning journey is maximized. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Education Project in Italy, which values the child as strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge, our work alongside our children reflects this belief. We continue to make connections with our local community outside our gates as well. We are regular visitors to the local parks, the Nerang River nearby and all the amenities our beautiful suburb offers.
In 2019 we celebrate 50 years of caring for and educating the children of the Gold Coast and we look forward to many more years of connecting with our community and working together towards positive outcomes for our children.
