Part Time Early Childhood Teacher – Ipswich Kindergarten
Ipswich Kindergarten is set in the beautiful surrounds of Queens Park. Established in 1937 our Centre provides a unique opportunity for children to engage in play-based learning in an extensive natural setting. Our Centre has a proud history of tradition and close ties between the home, kindergarten and the Ipswich community. We have an excellent reputation in the community for providing a high-quality play-based kindergarten program and are rated as “Exceeding” the National Quality Standards. We are a non-profit community kindergarten and are affiliated with Lady Gowrie QLD.
A rare opportunity has become available for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our amazing team in a permanent part time position starting 22nd May 2025. We are a double unit centre, which operates a Monday/Tuesday and a Thursday/Friday Kindergarten program. The vacancy is in our Thursday/Friday group. Our session times are 8.15am to 3.45pm.
About the Role
This is a permanent part time Early Childhood Teacher position. You will teach on a Thursday & Friday. Every second Wednesday will be designated for staff meetings, team building and professional development with each alternate Wednesday being your day off.
In this role you will be working alongside a long standing and experienced team of teachers and educators who are passionate about early childhood education and providing a warm, secure, inclusive and high-quality learning environment for all children as they start their learning journey. You will work closely with the Director and Educational Leader.
