Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader
Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader
Kedron Heights Community Kindergarten
About Us:
At Kedron Heights Community Kindergarten, we have proudly delivered high quality, community focused early childhood education for over 60 years, built on our values of Relationships, Respect, Wellbeing, Inclusion, and Community. The strength and success of our kindergarten is based on the genuine enduring relationships that are formed and cemented. At the heart of what we do are our children, who learn and grow best when they feel safe, secure and valued and their unique needs, learning styles and backgrounds are supported and nurtured.
“Celebrating Childhood” every day is important to us as we encourage the children’s ideas, creativity and problem-solving to develop and flourish. An emphasis on nature play and exploring in an indoor/outdoor environment encourages the children’s agency and flexibility, while the Bradbury Parklands, incorporating the Magic Forest, is situated directly across the road and is an integral component of our program.
Our one-unit centre is an Approved Kindergarten Program Provider, affiliated with Lady Gowrie QLD, and was rated as exceeding the national quality standards in 2023. We provide education for two groups of kindergarten-aged children:
- Group A – 5-day fortnight group operates Mon, Tues and alternate Wed with program hours 8.40am to 2.50pm during school terms and
