About the centre
Welcome to the Range Community Kindergarten, a small regional kindergarten with a history dating back to 1986. Your child will be nurtured in a warm and positive environment where the sense of “community” pervades, ensuring every member’s value and responsibility is secure – a very special situation indeed.
We are a single-unit centre catering for two groups of 20 children aged three-and-a-half to five years old. Each group meets the Universal Access goal of 30 hours early education over a fortnight. A two-day group attends the Kindergarten Mondays and Tuesdays, while a second group attends a five-day fortnight on Wednesdays, Thursdays and alternate Fridays.
Recent improvements to the environment of the Kindergarten mean we now are fully air-conditioned inside, and outside families and children can get closer to nature as we explore our Bush Food Garden and watch the native bees busy working their hive.
