About the centre

As a Lady Gowrie affiliated centre, we pride ourselves on our nurturing environment where your child will feel happy and secure. We provide a warm, friendly atmosphere which has been enjoyed by Mackay families for over 50 years.

Pioneer Community Kindergarten offers:

  • A pre-Prep program
  • Play-based curriculum
  • Child-lead learning journey
  • Development at your child’s own pace and through their own specific interests, and
  • Experiences to assist children in being independent and ready for school.

We are a community-run, not-for-profit association which follows the philosophy and teachings of Lady Gowrie. Our staff are highly qualified and experienced and work in partnership with parents to provide the best possible Kindergarten experience for all children.
