About the centre

Lady Gowrie Mango Hill Community Kindergarten is a not-for-profit, community-run service located within the grounds of Mango Hill State School. Our spacious, modern facilities provide an inviting setting where children can grow, play and learn.

We are proud to deliver an Approved Kindergarten Program, guided by university-qualified early childhood teachers. Our program is recognised as Meeting the National Quality Standard and is designed to nurture each child’s unique strengths, interests and abilities. We support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development through meaningful play-based learning.

Families and educators work together to create a caring and inclusive community where children feel safe, respected and connected. In the year before school, children are encouraged to explore, question and collaborate, building the confidence and skills they need for a successful transition to Prep.

We cater for children aged 3–5 years and operate two groups, each with a maximum of 22 children:

  • Group A: Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays
  • Group B: Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays
  • Our Kindergarten day runs from 8:45am to 2:45pm.
