About the centre
The Love Street Centre provides part time programs for 130 children from 20 months to 5 years.
Staffed by fully qualified early childhood teachers these part time or sessional programs support parenting skills and promote early socialisation.
Children participate in teacher-led and child-initiated activities that follow a general routine of outdoor time, group time for language development, indoor play and activities, group music time and rest.
The teacher uses the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline to develop the program and monitor children’s learning during the year.
This program is offered for five extended mornings each fortnight. Children attend every Monday / Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays from 9.30 to 3.30pm OR Thursday / Friday and alternate Wednesdays from 8.30am to 2.30pm.
