Welcome to Balonne Community Kindergarten a warm and welcoming early childhood learning environment based in St George, where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to thrive. For the last 50 years our Kindergarten has provided a nurturing and play-based program for children aged 4–5 years, helping them develop strong foundations for lifelong learning.

At Balonne, we believe that children learn best through exploration, curiosity, and meaningful relationships. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) our qualified educators create rich learning experiences that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and confidence while fostering a sense of belonging.

Our beautiful learning spaces, both indoors and outdoors, invite children to play, discover, and connect with nature. Families are valued partners in their child’s learning journey, and we work together to create a supportive, inclusive community.
