About the centre
Kookaburra Creek Kindergarten is situated in the Clinton area of Gladstone. Anderson Street runs off J Hickey Avenue and Aerodrome Road.
We are a non-profit Community based Kindergarten that offers a quality play-based curriculum for children 3-5 years. We run two groups of children who each do a five day fortnight, 22 children in each group.
The educational program at Kookaburra Creek Kindergarten takes into account the valuable role of play in promoting learning the Whole child, significantly influencing children’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative growth. Teaching staff have a commitment to the development of a play-based curriculum centred around the interests, capabilities and needs of individual children. Friendly experienced staff provide a nurturing and stimulating program and work closely with families and our community. We welcome parental involvement and invite parents to drop in and spend time with their child whenever they like.
We have a beautiful, shady, well-maintained outdoor environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
