About the centre
Emerald Preschool & Community Kindergarten is a non-profit, community-based service offering educational programs to children aged between 3 years to 5 years. The Centre offers four Kindergarten sessional groups (pre-prep program based on the Queensland Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines) and services approximately 90 families in Emerald and surrounding district. The Centre began operation in 1955 and celebrated 60 years in 2015. The Centre is fully affiliated with The Gowrie (Qld) Inc.
