Cairns Early Years Centre Kindergarten

General Information
Our kindergarten opening hours are 8.30am – 2.40pm. Our Early Years Centre office is open daily from 8.30am until 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Enrolled children attend Kindergarten 5 days every fortnight for 40 weeks each year during school term. This usually works out at two days one week, and three the following week.

Group A attends Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays
Group B attends Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Wednesdays.

What makes us different?
Apart from the kindergarten, we will offer a range of services for young families all under the one roof.
At the Cairns Early Years Centre there are child nurses, family support workers, early childhood educators, a psychologist, a speech pathologist, playgroup coordinators. We will offer parenting programs, a toy library, programs to enhance children’s literacy and attention skills.
