The Early Years Place provides opportunities for families, across multiple locations, through access to facilitated programs, parenting programs and individualised family support. We offer a suite of services, support, and programs both at our sites and externally.
Our holistic approach of actively working with families promotes their sense of belonging within the community and supports the foundations for family wellbeing.
Group programs are facilitated by qualified Early Childhood Educators, Family Support Workers and, when available, Child Health Nurses. Our programs offer the opportunity to play and learn alongside your child. We facilitate a wide range of both universal and targeted programs for children aged 0 – 8 years.
For current program offerings visit our Facebook or Instagram pages.
We deliver a suite of programs designed to build capacity and understanding of everyday parenting. The range of parenting programs vary in length and generally run across multiple weeks, with one session per week. Each of these programs are delivered by two trained EYP staff.
Our Family Support program provides short term assistance to parents and carers who would like additional support in their parenting role, and if you are experiencing challenges with your child or children. Any family living within our catchment can access individual support. To seek support please call (07) 5428 1477 to further discuss the referral process.
The Pre-Kindy program supports a smooth transition for children the year prior to attending Kindergarten. It is facilitated by an Early Childhood Teacher and an Early Childhood Educator, and is provided weekly during term time. This is an enrolled program for children who turn 3 years by 30th June year of attendance, living within our catchment.
The Lady Gowrie Caboolture East Community Kindergarten is co-located with the Early Years Place. The Kindy offers a program from 8:45am – 2:45pm across two groups per week.
Being co-located with the EYP supports an integrated model of accessibility.

We are a not for-profit organisation providing high quality childcare and Kindergarten programs, with a strong heritage in early childhood education in Queensland and Australia.
The Brisbane Lady Gowrie Childcare Centre was established in 1940 as a demonstration centre for excellence in early childhood education and care. We continue to be Qld’s leading provider of Community Kindergarten and Long Day Care services and uphold the highest standards in childcare.
Lady Gowrie QLD acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which our Kindergarten and childcare services are placed, and pay our respects to the elders, past and present, who have raised children, taught them about the world around them and bestowed on them the gift of culture and language.
