The Role

We invite you to join our team from January 2024 as a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher. Your endless creativity will enable you to design and implement engaging learning experiences that cater to each child’s unique needs and interests.

As the Teacher you will work part time and you will be responsible for the children in Group 2 who attend on a Thursday and a Friday. You will have experienced Educator’s to support you in the delivery of your program. This position will enable you to work autonomously in a well-resourced early childhood environment.

Experience in a kindergarten environment is essential as we evolve to further meet the needs of our families and local community. We are affiliated with Lady Gowrie and you will have the opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with our Director and the voluntary management committee.

Your experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification)
Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers prior to appointment.
Knowledge of National Quality Framework and Standards (“NQF” and “NQS”), the Early Years Learning Framework (“EYLF”) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (“QKLG”)
Current paid or Exemption Blue Card
Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
Experience in implementing and delivering a successful Kindergarten program
