Office Administrator – South Pine Kindergarten
About the Role:
South Pine Kindergarten is seeking a confident and highly organised Kindergarten Office Administrator to join our team.
This is a part time position that will involve managing the administrative and financial aspects of our kindergarten, ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day activities.
This part- time contract position is for working at the kindy up to two days per week, for a total of 10 to 12 hours weekly.
South Pine Kindy is a not-for-profit Community Kindergarten and has been providing high-quality early education and care services since 1978. What you will be doing
- Oversee the administrative functions of the kindergarten, including managing enrolments, attendance records, and parent communications
- Liaise with teaching staff to ensure the efficient operation of the kindergarten
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Perform other administrative duties as required to support the overall operations of the kindergarten.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably within the education sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and stakeholders
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks Accounts or similar
- Knowledge of early childhood education regulations and standards or a willingness to learn.
