Join our passionate team at Bardon Community Kindergarten, affiliated with Lady Gowrie Qld.
About Bardon Kindy
At Bardon Community Kindy we are proud of our heritage with over 70 years of service to the Bardon community, operating as a respected not-for-profit community‑based early childhood centre nestled along Ithaca Creek.
Our expansive natural environment is a key strength of the kindy – where children learn, inquire and play in the dappled shade of a leafy canopy of established trees including Jacarandas and visit creekbanks and local bushland as an extension of their playground. Our children are fortunate to have daily opportunities to engage with nature – pause to watch visiting water‑dragons basking on logs, slow down to collect eggs from our chickens and listen to the birdsong in our backyard.
We are a double unit centre catering for 88 children each week across four groups which operate as either a Monday to Wednesday and a Thursday/Friday Kindergarten program.
We also offer an outside hour’s care program both before and after the funded Kindy program hours.
At Bardon Community Kindergarten, we value flexibility, professionalism, collaboration, inclusion and a commitment to ongoing professional learning.
