About Us

Wagner Road Childcare and Kindergarten is located in Clayfield, a 60-place Community Child Care Centre with a single Kindergarten unit.  We provide care during school term times from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm and provide vacation care during the Easter, June/July, and September school term breaks. At Wagner Road, we aim to create happy children and lifelong learners.  We enjoy a long tradition of providing quality early childhood education and have an exceeding rating from ACECQA.

About the Role 

We invite qualified, experienced, energetic, and motivated educators with a positive focus to apply for two 3-day per week, Permanent Part-Time positions.

On-call regular relief and vacation care shifts are also available to the successful applicant.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience with children of all ages, be a passionate educator, and hold a relevant qualification (Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent). You will have a Blue Card, Working With Children Check number, a Child Protection Certificate, and a valid ACECQA recognised first-aid qualification, or be willing to obtain one, supported by the Centre.

The successful candidates must also have:

An understanding of current early childhood practices, NQS & EYLF
Moderate computer skills
Ability to work well with others
Flexibility
Recent industry experience
Current references
While conditions will be as per the Children’s Services Award, the above award pay rates apply to our permanent part-time staff – hours will vary between 7.15 am to 4.30 pm and vacation care days will change.
